It gives me immense pleasure and pride to present the latest volume of the Indian Journal of Dalit and Tribal Studies along with my co-editors. This journal was started in 2013, and in a very short span of time, it has established itself as the premier journal on Dalit and Tribal issues. In the last six years, we have published hundreds of quality research papers written by the nationally and internationally acclaimed social scientists, activists as well as emerging scholars from India and abroad. As part of our commitment to ensuring an ethical, transparent, and fair peer-review process and enriching the journal, we are expanding our editorial board. I feel really humbled and privileged to announce that in the last six months many emerging, as well as internationally acclaimed academicians and scholars have joined our editorial board. I personally welcome them and look forward to benefiting from their knowledge and expertise in their respective domain.
I am confident that in the coming years, Indian Journal of Dalit and Tribal Studies will not only continue its tradition of academic excellence but will also touch the new heights in the academic world.
